Update to sierra, apple id doesn't work

I upgraded my computer to sierra and now I can't log on to my apple ID.... This means nothing works not icloud, app store, itunes, imessage etc... I can't even use iMovie since it needs to be updated and I need to log in with my apple ID to update it. I could log in with my apple ID to ask this question so the problem must be with the computer. What do I do??
